I completed my Bachelors and Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), India and then worked as a clinical occupational therapist at a rehabilitation hospital in India in 2014. I went on to work as an Assistant Professor at MAHE, where my role involved clinical practice, undergraduate teaching and research. Over time, I have developed a passion for research and moved to Canada to take this further. My research experience so far has primarily centred on older adults and individuals with dementia. I have developed an interest in research focusing on caregivers of individuals with chronic conditions like dementia. I currently work with Dr. Pamela Baxter as a Research Coordinator and hope to pursue my graduate studies in the future.
